The Social Science Research Institute announced Jennifer Kowalkowski, assistant professor of nursing at the Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing, is the winner of the 2025 Lloyd Prize for Innovative Health Research.  

Nursing student research wins awards at ENRS Conference (4/18/2025)

Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing students Jessica Wellington and Ahmed-Rufai Yahaya won awards for their research at the 2025 Eastern Nursing Research Society’s Annual Scientific Sessions (ENRS) in Philadelphia on April 3-4.

Nursing professor receives Wellness Impact Award (4/16/2025)

Christina Lightner, Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing assistant teaching professor and academic wellness coordinator, received the 2025 BHAC Impact Award by the National Consortium for Building Healthy Academic Communities.

Join us for the 8th Annual Translating Research to Innovations in Practice Symposium, hosted by Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing and the Department of Nursing at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. This two-day event brings together nurse researchers from both academic and clinical settings to focus on the translation of evidence to healthcare practices.
